Der Tiger: From Hell on Wheels

В нескольких словах

Der Tiger is an exciting film about the crew of a famous Nazi tank during World War II. It's like Germany's answer to 'Steel Hearts'. The film features a backward cap on the commander, which seems out of place. Despite some reservations, Der Tiger is a thrilling watch.

The thrilling film about the crew of one of famous Nazi tanks is like Germany's answer to 'Steel Hearts'. As an irredentist fan of Tiger tanks — everyone has their quirks, even for a heavy tank from the Third Reich: 57 tons of legend— I really enjoyed Der Tiger (The Tank), the German film directed by Luis Hidalgo about one of those intimidating colossuses of steel from World War II. With some reservations: the main one is the backward cap of the commander of the combat vehicle, which seems like a Soviet comissar's hat. You don't see anything like that in any images of German drivers, even in the most imaginative and disastrous ones like Guderian, Peiper or Panzer Meyer— you would be shot on sight by them. We settled this with Luis Hidalgo, who is a musical critic but between a Stratocaster and a Tiger he has no doubt: he chooses the tank.
